UKSSSC paper leak: STF reveals paper leaked for Rs 2 crore

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) graduate level combined exam paper was sold by a Lucknow-based private company owner for Rs 2 crore. STF has arrested accused Rajesh Chauhan, owner of an outsourcing company of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission from Lucknow in this case. It was revealed in the investigation that he sold this paper to a broker named Kendrapal for two crore rupees. This money was given by Hakam Singh Rawat’s fellow Kendrapal to many of his relatives.

Kendrapal revealed this information in front of the STF. After the late night interrogation, STF arrested Rajesh Chauhan. He has been sent to jail on the orders of the court. STF SSP Ajay Singh said that till Friday, three employees of RMS Techno Solution had been arrested in the paper leak case of graduation level examination.

Kendrapal told that he has known Rajesh Chauhan for years. He himself contacted Chauhan before this exam and asked him to leak the paper. The deal was done for two crore rupees. This money was given to his Dhampur resident relatives by not giving it in any bank account. Since, Rajesh Chauhan was repeatedly being called for questioning, he had come to the STF office late on Thursday too. There was a contradiction in the statements he made here. Based on this, he was arrested.

During interrogation, it was found that Rajesh Chauhan had leaked not only the graduation level recruitment exam but also the secretariat guard exam paper. The SSP said that accused Rajesh Chauhan has been made the main accused in both the cases. Many other links have come to know from him. Soon some more of his associates will be arrested.

The gang of Hakam and Kendrapal bought the paper for Rs 2 crore. During interrogation, it came to light that they sold the paper to the youth for Rs 12 to 15 lakh. The STF is still finding out as to how many students was the paper leaked. So far the names of more than a hundred youths have come up. It can be understood from this that the gang earned crores of rupees by selling paper.
