Namita Pant, the daughter of state finance minister and Pithoragarh MLA Prakash Pant, has become the Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the Indian Army on Saturday. Many members of the family were present at the passing out parade held at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the joining of Namita in the Indian Army.
Prakash Pant’s family lives in Khathkot district of Pithoragarh town.
Finance Minister Prakash Pant, his wife Chandra Pant, father Mohan Chandra Pant, elder brother Kailash Chandra Pant, younger brother Bhupesh Pant, daughter-in-law Geeta Pant have gone to Chennai to join the passing out parade and witness this glorious moment.
