Total Corona case count crosses 1000 in Dehradun
174 new Corona cases found in Uttarakhand on 18 July
On Saturday, 174 new Corona patients were found in Uttarakhand. With this, the figure of total corona patients found till date has reached 4257. 60 patients were discharged from hospitals after treatment today. So far, the total number of cured patients in the state has reached 3081. The winter capital Dehradun alone has recorded over 1000 corona cases till date.
Today i.e, 18 July Coronavirus was confirmed in 50 patients in Dehradun, 45 in Udham Singh Nagar, 36 in Nainital, 27 in Haridwar, seven in Almora, three in Pithoragarh, three in Uttarkashi, according to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department.
A corona infected cancer patient admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh died. With this, the total number of corona infected so far in the state has gone up to 52. On Saturday, samples of a total of 2653 patients were sent from the state for examination.
The maximum of 557 samples have been sent from the Udham Singh Nagar District for investigation. Apart from this, 427 samples have been sent from Dehradun, 340 from Almora, 234 samples from Nainital.
A total of 116694 samples have been sent to the state for investigation so far. Of which 101613 negative, 4276 positive and 8197 sample reports are yet to come. The rate of corona patients doubling in the state is 25 days, the recovery rate is 72 percent while the corona infection rate is close to four percent. A total of 97 containment zones have been created in the state to reduce corona infection.
Total case count in Dehradun crosses 1000
On Saturday, the number of corona patients in Dehradun district has crossed 1,000. Dehradun is the only district in the state where more than a thousand patients have been detected so far.
However, 259 patients are currently admitted in the hospitals of the district. While other patients have recovered and gone home after treatment. In addition, Udham Singh Nagar has reached the second place in terms of patients.
There are 716 patients in the US Nagar district. Out of which 368 are admitted in hospitals. The number of cumulative positive patients in Nainital is 684.
