Women’s Gram Pradhan (village head) of Satgal village of the border area of Pitoragarh committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance. The family also did not know about why the woman ate the poison. State Police has opened an the investigation of the case.
Sub-inspector Prakash Kapadi told that the village head of Satgal village Nanda Devi (36) consumed poisonous substance last night. When the condition worsened, she was brought to the District Hospital. The doctors referred her condition to the Higher Center. After reaching 30 kms away from the district headquarters, the village head died. No report had been filed in this case yet.
