Vladimir wins International Ganga Kayak festival in Devprayag

Devprayag: Confluence of Alanknanda (Right) and Bhagirathi (Left) rivers

Russia’s Vladimir won the Pro sprint race, which was held at the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda river at Devprayag . He crossed 350 meters in one minute and 36 seconds to get first place. India’s Manish Rawat second and Rishi Rana finished in third place.

Pro Sprint and Pro Slalom competition took place on Sunday under the Ganga Kayak Festival. In addition to India, the athletes of Russia, America, Canada, Norway and Nepal participated. In Pro Sprint, 46 and Pro Slalom  56 athletes took part.
