Dinesh Karthik’s last ball 6 sealed the finals for the men in Blue in the Nidahas trophy final against Bangladesh. Chasing 167 in 20 overs India were struggling at the back end of the innings needing 34 of the last 2 overs. Dinesh Karthik played a whirlwind 8 ball 29 run knock which included 3 sixes.

Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, has captured the trophy of the Nidhas T-20 Tri Series by beating Bangladesh by 4 wickets in the final match. At the same time, Team India has maintained its unbeaten record against Bangladesh in the knock-out matches. In this format, eight matches have been played between Team India and Bangladesh and all have won the Indian team.

Batting first, losing the toss in this match, Bangladesh lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and scored 166 runs and set 167 runs for Team India to win. In reply, Team India lost six wickets in 20 overs and won the match by scoring 168 runs. Earlier , Tamim Iqbal scored 15, Liton Das scored 11 and Mahmudullah scored 21 for Bangladesh. Bangladesh did not start well. They had lost three wickets for 33 runs, but Sabbir Rahman stayed on one end. After the wicket of Mushfikur Rahim (9) on the total score of 68, Sabir teamed with Mahmudullah to takethe score over 100. Jaydev Unadkat also took two wickets from India while Washington Sunder achieved a breakthrough.
