Dengue cases reach 1000 in Uttarakhand

Dengue is becoming more severe in Uttarakhand. The situation is that the activity of mosquito that spreads dengue disease is increasing day by day. In the initial phase, the mosquito, which has an effect in Dehradun and the surrounding plains, is now wreaking havoc in the mountain as well. Not only this, the mosquito has also become deadly. The growing havoc of dengue can be gauged from the fact that the number of patients suffering from Dengue disease in the state has crossed the 1000 mark. Most of these cases are from Dehradun.

As in previous days, Dangue has been confirmed in 12 more patients in Doon. At the same time, it has been confirmed in 27 new patients in Nainital district. The number of patients suffering from Dengu has increased to 1019 in the state. These include 277 patients from Nainital district, 39 from Haridwar, seven patients from Tehri, five from Udham Singh Nagar and one from Pauri district. In Dehradun alone, Dengue mosquito has resulted in deaths of seven patients (one in Tehri).

The health department has also been agitated by the rising outbreak of dengue. Departmental officials are in a dilemma as to why the effect of dengue is not diminishing even after making all preparations for the prevention and prevention of the disease. Rather, new patients are increasing everyday. However, departmental officials are not tired of claiming that the health department and the municipal teams are constantly visiting the affected areas of dengue.

Residents are being made aware about the prevention of dengue disease. A door to door survey of mosquito larvae is being done. The larvae found during the inspection are being destroyed on the spot. At the same time, houses where mosquito larvae are grwoing are being fined by the Municipal Corporation.
