16 passengers injured in Kashipur-Dehradun bus accident

A roadways bus of Kashipur depot going to Dehradun from Kashipur went out of control near the bridge of Bamali river and fell down 20 feet into the ditch from the highway, leaving 16 passengers injured in the bus. The condition of some of the injured is worrisome.

Passengers accused that the driver of the roadways bus was moving at a high speed. In an attempt to save the bus from a truck coming from the front, he lost control of the bus. After the accident the driver left the bus and fled. On receiving the information of the accident, Police reached the spot along with 108 emergency ambulances and took the injured to the primary health center in Kasampur Garhi. There were 55 passengers in the bus.
