Actor and Investor Ashton Kutcher makes doantion via Ripple Cryto currency

On May 23, Ellen DeGeneres’ wildlife fund got an amazing boost from her friends Ashton Kutcher and his talent manager and business partner Guy Oseary. On behalf of Ripple, they presented her fund with a donation of $4 million in the form of Ripple’s XRP coin. (Ripple is a payment exchange startup that uses blockchain-like technology.) During the show, Ashton Kutcher (Hollywood actor) appeared as a surprise guest to the daily talk show with a $4million late birthday gift for Ellen meant to be a donation to Ellen DeGeneres’ Wildlife fund. Ellen had already planned out a trip to Africa as an initiative to focus on her passion about wildlife only to get a happy surprise of Ashton Kutcher showing up to make the donation live on the show using Ripple XRP.

Kutcher told DeGeneres she deserves the donation because she’s always thinking about other people. “We wanted to show we were thinking about you,” Kutcher said. The cryptocurrency was presented to DeGeneres as an immediate transfer into her account via smartphone.

The donation will go to help the mountain gorilla, a critically endangered species that’s been in decline due to poachers, civil conflicts, and human population growth.

Ripple is undoubtedly one of the digital assets with the most exchange listings, however, the Ripple community was overjoyed when Apple announced the listing of Ripple (XRP) into Apple’s Stocks App. Apple made the announcement two days ago, offering its users ten fiat trading pairs, and two cryptocurrency trading pairs with XRP.

Ripple (XRP) can now be traded on Apple Stocks App with the following fiat currencies; US Dollar (USD), Euros (EUR), Great Britain Pounds (GBP), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Indian Rupee (INR), Australian Dollar (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Russian Ruble (RUB), Korean Won (KRW), and Chinese Yuan (CNY). On the cryptocurrency aspect, XRP can be traded with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
