Gurkul Kangri University to hold MCQ based online exams from July 1

During the Corona period, there is confusion regarding the examinations among the students. In such a situation, a meeting was called to conduct the examinations in Gurukul Kangri University. In which decisions were taken to conduct the examination.

Giving information about the meeting, Controller of Examinations Prof. MR Verma said that the students studying in the session 2019-20, whose students have not yet done their examinations, will be conducted online between July 1 and July 20. The format of the session will be objective type multiple choice questions. In this one-hour exam, 30 questions will be asked. Each question will carry 1 mark. For the session examinations, the candidates will contact their teacher or head of department teaching the course and get information about the exam date, syllabus and through which online medium the exam will be conducted. These online exams can also include students who have taken the offline test before. But are willing to take the exam again.

If a candidate is not able to participate in these online session examinations for any reason, then after the university opens, the online departmental examination will be conducted by the concerned department in the university itself. Pro. Verma said that as per UGC guidelines, semester examinations will not be conducted for the students of the current session. Their exam result will be declared by sum of marks of the marks obtained by them in this session and the average of marks obtained in previous semesters. The scores of previous semesters will be averaged for the experimental examination and theoretical examinations. Candidates who failed or were absent in any of the previous semester test papers will be given an opportunity in future offline examinations of the university as per rules.
