DRDO employee arrested for leaking intel about BrahMos missile
In the case of security, Indian agencies have received great success on Monday. Uttar Pradesh ATS has arrested Nishant Agrawal, a DRDO employee from Nagpur in Maharashtra on Monday. The employee is accused of giving information related to security to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. It is being alleged that the employee was giving information related to India’s most important missile ‘BrahMos’ to Pakistan and America.
Nishant Agarwal was employed in BrahMos unit of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in Nagpur. On Monday morning, there was a raid from UP ATS and Intelligence Military Delhi.
Nishant Agarwal is alleged to have shared the technical information related to ‘BrahMos’ missile with American and Pakistani agency. Nishant Agarwal is a resident of Uttarakhand and has been working in the Nagpur unit of DRDO for last 4 years.
Earlier on Sunday night, the same team had arrested a woman from Kanpur. However, nothing was found from her.
