Hurricane ‘Michael’ upgraded to category 4 storm

Hurricane Michael moving towards Florida’s Gulf Coast in the US has been transformed into a highly dangerous storm of category 4. The National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday that the storm is moving at a maximum speed of 210 kilometers per hour and it is expected to reach the Florida Panhandle today.

The Center said that in some areas, sea waves can rise up to 13 feet (4 meters) high. In the state capital Tallahassee, the National Weather Service has appealed to people to follow the order to leave the homes and go to safer places. They said, “Hurricane Michael is unprecedented and can not be compared to its earlier storms. Do not put your life in danger, if you are told, then go to the safe places immediately.”
