Man threatens roommate with ax over thermostat dispute

Cops arrested an intoxicated 46 year old in Lincon after he threatened his roomates with an ax. The roomates told the police that the man was unhappy over the room’s heating and allegedly threatened them.

He complained that he was cold and wanted the place to be warmer. His 48 year old roommate wrestled the intoxicated man to the floor and held him until police arrived.  Lincoln police were called to a home near 26th and Y Streets about 5:30 a.m on Wednesday. The ax-wielding man was arrested on suspicion of making terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
