Rail passengers are going to have traveling woes for next two months. Due to fog, the railway administration has canceled two long-distance trains from December 13 to February 15. These include Dehradun-Ujjain and Dehradun-Varanasi Janata Express.
Due to the fog in the plains, the speed of the trains gets reduced. Travelers have to deal with problems when the long distance trains arrive late. Railway administration has to face difficulties due to messing up of trains, and this also affects the earnings of the Railways.
This year too, the railways have canceled 14309 Ujjain-Dehradun, 14310 Dehradun-Ujjain, 14265 Varanasi-Dehradun and 14266 Dehradun-Varanasi due to fog. Station Superintendent Sitaram Sonkar said that due to fog, these two trains will not run from 13th December to 15th February.
