Student protest in Gurukul Kangri continues for fifth day

Students protest at Gurukul Kangri University also continued on Wednesday. Students are sitting in the protest against dissolution of the student union executive by the Managing Committee.

Students have warned that if the management committee does not withdraw its decision to dissolve the executive, the agitation will be intensified. Students Union Vice President Deepak Prajapati and Department Chief Prabhat Panwar have said that the university administration is taking such steps to harass the student wing officers to hide their shortcomings.

They said that the university is working to suppress the voice of the students by dissolving the administration executive. They said that if all the proposals taken in the meeting are not withdrawn, then the students would be bound to the big movement. Classes were completely affected due to the students’ agitation.
