2 injured in Tata steel plant explosion in UK
An explosion at Tata Steel Plant is being reported in Port Talbot, UK, South Wales. The South Wales Police has tweeted this information. So far, 2 employees have been reported to be injured. The reasons for the explosion are not yet known. This information has been given on Tata Steel’s Europe Twitter account.
We can confirm two of our employees were slightly injured when there was a spillage of liquid iron while it was travelling to the steel plant. All fires have now been extinguished. A full investigation has begun.

After the blast, people living near the plant reported this to the police. Tweeted by the South Wales Police, the incident happened at Tata Steel Plant. Police have said that emergency services are being provided. Nobody has been seriously injured. The fire has now been controlled.
According to reports local people have said that the blasts occurred at around 3:30 in the morning local time. More than 4,000 people work in Tata Steel Plant, it is the most important plant in terms of local economy. People told about the accident that at the time the explosion happened, it seemed as if the jets had passed near them. During this, they felt three shocks. The blast was so sharp that the doors and windows were shaken up.
