Uttarakhand corona update: 54 cases found on 23 February
54 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand on Tuesday and one infected died. With this, the total corona patients in the state have risen to 96773. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, not a single new infected was found in Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts on Tuesday. While 30 people have been found in Dehradun, seven in Haridwar, three in Nainital, three in Pauri, ten in US Nagar and one in Tehri district. An infected admitted to Haldwani Medical College died. With this, the total number of patients who have died so far in the state has reached 1690.
The rate of infection in the state is 4.15 percent while the recovery rate of patients is 96.38 percent. On Tuesday, more than eight thousand reports were sent from hospitals across the state for a sample examination of a total of 8445 patients, while reports of about seven thousand patients are yet to come. In terms of Corona numbers in the state, 93268 patients have fully recovered while 423 patients are admitted in hospitals. On Tuesday, 38 patients were discharged from various hospitals after treatment.
3982 vaccinated
A total of 3982 front line workers were vaccinated across the state on Tuesday under the Corona Vaccination Campaign. With this, the number of vaccinated has reached 1,41,000. A second dose of Corona has also been applied to 12021 health workers in the state. The number of front line corona warriors who vaccinated the corona in the state has crossed 61 thousand.
