Theresa May to resign as Prime Minister UK on June 7

Failing to get support from his conservative party on the issue of Brexit (separation from the European Union), British Prime Minister Theresa May announced her resignation news with a heavy heart on Friday. She will quit her post on June 7. Meanwhile, the party will elect the leader in her place, which will later take oath of office as prime minister.

The announcement of Theresa’s resignation has caused the case of Brexit to become more complicated. Now the new prime minister will have a big responsibility on whether to pass a bill in parliament or to declare unconditional separation from the EU.

The proposal was to be presented for the fourth time on June 3, but before that opposition Labor Party refused to give any assistance to the government. Even in her Conservative party, the support for Theresa’s proposal was not supported.
