Sports Fete held at The Doon Little World
Sports Fete was held at The Doon Little World Dehradun on Saturday, November 16. In the fete, children from classes LKG to V showed their skills in many sports. All successful participants were awarded. The school Principal said that children’s physical and mental development takes place by such an event.
Present on the occasion were Chief Guest Shelley Singh of Times of India Group, Mr & Mrs Mitu Bisht, Ms Pooja Mehta and Mr & Mrs Farah Khan among others. Students participated in large numbers in all competitions. The guests encouraged the young participants to make sports part of their daily routine and said that it is most important to participate in any kind of competition. Defeat and win is a major part of every event. Therefore, all types of competitions should be actively participated. This increases confidence. In addition, hidden talent also develops in the students.
