Two new zones to be opened for tourists at Jim Corbett National Park

Two new tourist zones will open in Jim Corbett National Park. In such a situation, tourists will get a chance to safari in Corbett Park more than before to have a closer look at nature and wildlife. For this, Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat has announced to start new zones for tourists in Corbett Park and increase the permit of Gypsies. He made this announcement on the demand of the Hotel Association. The Forest Minister said that it will be implemented from the first week of February. Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat held a meeting with the officials of the hotel association in the presence of forest officials on Sunday night.

Opening of two new zones will increase the influx of tourists

Mann, president of the association, sought to increase tourism in Corbett. He said that if more tourists come here, people associated with tourism will benefit. Association officials gave suggestions to the Forest Minister to increase tourism. After which the Forest Minister on opening of a new zone called Ringora in Corbett Park on the demand of the Association, besides opening a new tourism zone in Fato in the Terai Western Forest Division. Besides this, announcement was made for extension of 15 gypsies permit in Dhela region and 10 in Pakhro.

Both proposals regarding opening of new zones were sent earlier in the regime. In the morning and evening 30 in Fato and 15 Gypsies in Ringora were asked to be given permits. Apart from this, the Forest Minister discussed with the forest officials about preparations for starting and organizing the Corbett Festival in April.

Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India which was established in 1936 as the Hailey National Park to protect the Bengal tiger. Jim Corbett National Park is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand on the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains and on the banks of the Ramganga River. The park is home to about 50 species of trees, 580 species of birds and 50 species of animals, besides 25 species of reptiles, which are spread over an area of ​​more than 500 square meters. The area of ​​this national park consists of belts, hills, marshy depressions, lakes, rivers and grasslands.

Best time to visit Corbett Park

If you are planning to travel to Jim Corbett National Park, then you can visit this park throughout the year except the monsoon, but the best time to visit it is between November and February. Due to all the areas being open during the winter season, you will be able to see more animals here. Summer does not get too hot here, so summer is the best time to see most animals near water bodies. The monsoon (June – August) weather is not good for visiting here as the park is closed most of the time during these months.
