Uttarakhand Devasthanam Board will change the picture of religious tourism in the state

उत्तराखंड की त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत सरकार ने राज्य में स्थापित मंदिरों की व्यवस्था को एकरूपता देने और राज्य में चार धाम यात्रा को और बेहतर बनाने के लिए उत्तराखंड देवस्थानम बोर्ड बनाकर एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है। सरकार को उम्मीद है कि इस व्यवस्था के बाद राज्य में चार धाम यात्रा पहले के कहीं अधिक सुचारू रूप से चलेगी। राज्य में मंदिरों की देखभाल ठीक तरीके से हो सकेगी और देवसंस्कृति के वाहक पुरोहित समाज को भी पहले से अधिक सुविधाएं मिल दी जा सकेंगी। सीएम त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत इस बोर्ड के गठन के बाद न सिर्फ उत्साहित हैं बल्कि उम्मीद जता रहें हैं कि ये बोर्ड राज्य में धार्मिक पर्यटन की तस्वीर को बदल कर रख देगा।

इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर होगा बेहतर

देवस्थानम बोर्ड बनाने के पीछे उत्तराखंड सरकार का प्रमुख उद्देश्य राज्य के  मंदिरों में आधारभूत ढांचागत विकास करना है। इस बोर्ड के अधीन राज्य के चारों धाम और 51 मंदिर आएंगे। इन मंदिरों में देश ही नहीं विदेशों से भी बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं। ऐसे में इन मंदिरों में विश्व स्तरीय सुविधाओं का विकास भी किया जाएगा। सरकार अब राज्य में धार्मिक पर्यटन पर आने वालों के लिए सिंगल प्वाइंट अरेंजमेंट की ओर कदम बढ़ा रही है।

पुरोहितों के हित सुरक्षित

देवस्थानम बोर्ड के गठन के ऐलान के साथ ही इसका विरोध भी पटल पर आ गया। बड़ी संख्या में पुरोहित समाज के लोगों ने इस बोर्ड के गठन के विरोध में मोर्चा खोल दिया। हालांकि इस बोर्ड गठन के बाद अब पुरोहित समाज का बड़ा तबका इसके समर्थन में आ गया है। वहीं सरकार शुरुआत से इस बात का दावा करती रही है कि इस बोर्ड के गठन से पुरोहित समाज के हितों की अनदेखी किसी स्तर पर नहीं होगी। रावत और पुरोहितों की सदियों पुरानी व्यवस्था में कोई बदलाव नहीं आएगा। प्रबंधन के स्तर पर बोर्ड व्यवस्थाओं को बेहतर करेगा। इसी लिहाज से सरकार ने बोर्ड में चारों धामों के प्रतिनिधियों को भी स्थान दिया है।  सरकार की माने तो इस बोर्ड के गठन के बाद चारों धामों की व्यवस्था में समन्वय बनेगा।

भविष्य के लिए जरूरी

त्रिवेंद्र सरकार राज्य में धार्मिक तीर्थाटन को भविष्य के लिहाज से व्यवस्थित करना चाहती है। वैष्णो देवी और तिरुपति बालाजी जैसे मंदिरों में की गई व्यवस्थाओं के मुताबिक ही त्रिवेंद्र सरकार उत्तराखंड के मंदिरों में भी व्यवस्थाएं करना चाहती है। सरकार को उम्मीद है कि इससे राज्य के मंदिरों में धार्मिक पर्यटन बढ़ेगा। हालांकि सरकार के प्रयासों से चार धामों में आने वाले यात्रियों का आंकड़ा तेजी से बढ़ा है। फिलहाल तकरीबन चालीस लाख पर्यटक पहुंच रहें हैं। राज्य में जारी ऑल वेदर रोड और ऋषिकेश कर्णप्रयाग रेल लाइन के निर्माण के बाद पर्यटकों की संख्या करोड़ों में पहुंच सकती है। ऐसे में राज्य के मंदिरों की व्यवस्थाओं को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए सरकार को इस तरह के बोर्ड के गठन की जरूरत महसूस हो रही थी।

The Trivendra Singh Rawat government of Uttarakhand has taken a major step by creating Uttarakhand Devasthanam Board to harmonize the arrangement of temples established in the state and to further improve the Char Dham Yatra in the state. Infrastructure will be better

The main objective of the Uttarakhand government behind the creation of Devasthanam Board is to make infrastructural development in the temples of the state. The four dhams and 51 temples of the state will come under this board. A large number of devotees reach these temples not only from abroad but also from abroad. In such a situation, world-class facilities will also be developed in these temples. The government is now moving towards a single point arrangement for those visiting religious tourism in the state.

Priests’ interests secured

Along with the announcement of the formation of the Devasthanam Board, its opposition also came on the table. A large number of people from the priestly society opened a front to protest the formation of this board. However, after the formation of this board, now a large section of the priestly society has come in support of it. At the same time, the government has been claiming from the beginning that the formation of this board will not ignore the interests of the priestly society at any stage. There will be no change in the age-old system of the priests. The board will improve the arrangements at the management level. Accordingly, the government has also given place to the representatives of the four dhams on the board. The government believes, after the formation of this board, coordination will be made better in the system of the four dhams.

Necessary for the future

The Trivandra Rawat led Uttarakhand government wants to organize religious pilgrimage in the state in future. According to the arrangements made in temples like Vaishno Devi and Tirupati Balaji, the Trivendra government also wants to make arrangements in the temples of Uttarakhand. The government hopes that this will increase religious tourism in the temples of the state. Due to the efforts of the government, the number of travelers coming to the four dhams has increased rapidly. Currently, nearly four million tourists are reaching the holy places in Uttarakhand. After the construction of All Weather Road and Rishikesh Karnprayag railway line in the state, the number of tourists can reach crores. In such a situation, the government felt the need to set up such a board to strengthen the arrangements of the state’s temples.
