Liquor to be cheaper after new excise policy comes in to effect in Uttarakhand
Many important decisions were confirmed in the cabinet meeting. While liquor has become cheaper in Uttarakhand, the DM will now issue license for bar. Along with this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the cabinet minister for the integration of Jal Nigam and Jal Sansthan. The prices have been reduced in comparison with Uttar Pradesh.
A cabinet meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. The decisions taken after the meeting were concluded were given through a press conference. Following were the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting:
New Excise Policy Approved, Liquor Rate Lower Than Uttar Pradesh. DM will now give Bar license
Integration of Water Corporation and Jal Sansthan became a committee headed by Cabinet Minister.
– Approval of rules for recruitment of nurses.
– Creation of 126 posts in State Planning Commission.
-The structure of the Transport Department approved will hold the post of Divisional Transport Officer in all the districts.
The Chairman of the Gairsain Development Council will now be the Housing Minister.
Under the Make in India green signal to industries associated with making indigenous design of defense equipment and aerospace equipment in Uttarakhand.
