India’s 2007 T20 Worldcup hero now steps out to fight against coronavirus

Seeing the danger of coronavirus, PM Modi has announced a lockdown in India which will last for 21 days. Due to the virus (COVID-19), there is an atmosphere of panic all over the world, in view of this, the Government of India decided for a complete lockdown. In order to avoid the infection of the virus, cricketers are adopting the process of self-isolation by staying at home and at the same time advising the fans to stay at home. Meanwhile, India’s 2007 T20 World Cup final hero, bowler Joginder Sharma, who bowled brilliantly in the last over, is seen performing his duty amid the threat of Coronavirus. After separating from cricket, he is present in the post of DSP in Haryana Police. In such a situation, he has also been deployed on duty and he is working to send people coming out of their homes back on the road.

 

Former cricketer Joginder Sharma has posted some photos on Twitter, in which he is seen doing so. Joginder Sharma has also advised everyone by posting a photo and has written in the caption that ‘defending oneself can save us from coronavirus, fight together and help us by staying at home’

In the T20 World Cup final played in 2007, Joginder Sharma bowled the last over and won India by dismissing the then Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq. When Dhoni asked Joginder Sharma to do the last over, everyone was surprised but in the thrill of the last over, Joginder Sharma kept his cool and India became the inaugural World T20 champion.
