2 new corona positive cases reported in Haridwar

In Uttarakhand, two people have been found corona infected after no cases were reported in the previous 5 days. With this, now the number of infected in the state has gone up to 37. Out of the 157 investigative reports received by the Health Department today, two cases have been found positive. At the same time, nine people in the state have recovered and returned home.

According to the additional secretary Yugal Kishore Pant, both Corona positive are from Haridwar district, one from Bahadarpur in Luxar region and the other from Manakpur. Both are reported to be Jamaat attendees. Both the infected have been admitted to the hospital of Gurukul Ayurvedic College. Along with this, the police administration has also sealed both the areas.

So far, corona investigation of 2174 people has been done. 1868 of which are negative. At the same time, the investigation report of 273 samples is yet to come. After two more cases in Haridwar, there have now been five infected cases in the district.

Four districts sensitive, where restrictions to be imposed till May 3

The state government has admitted that only four districts Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital are sensitive. In these four districts, the government is considering keeping the restrictions under lockdown till May 3. After the center’s guideline comes, an action plan will be made to give partial relief under lockdown in the other nine districts. It has not been decided yet whether the government will send a proposal to the Center to give relief in these districts before April 20 or formulate a strategy after the instructions from the Center.

CM appeals to be vigilant

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat says that the situation in the state is still under control. But the possibility of future also cannot be ruled out. It has been observed that many times the symptoms are not appearing in the patient. At the same time, many patients are experiencing symptoms in more than 10 days. There is a great need to be cautious in this situation.

There is an appeal to the public to cover their face, nose and mouth when they come out. Wash the home made mask in hot water and use. It is necessary at this time to keep the situation under control in some way. For this, whatever strict steps the government has to take will be taken. The government is repeatedly appealing to the people to cooperate with the police administration. The religious leaders are also being appealed to come forward and make people aware.
