New Zealand stays ahead in fight against Coronavirus

So far, only 02 deaths have been recorded in New Zealand due to the deadly coronavirus that has caused havoc around the world for more than three months. For the past four days, there has been a steady decline in corona cases. The whole world should learn what this country is doing so that the unseen enemy is unable to spread there.

On this Thursday, 29 new Corona cases were registered New Zealand. With this, there have been a total of 1239 cases in New Zealand. So far, 02 deaths have been recorded in the country. In such cases, till now most of the infected people have recovered from treatment and reached home.

The first Corona case was found on 28 February

The first case of novel coronavirus in New Zealand was found on February 28. A month before this, the first corona patient had been found in the US. The first death due to corona was recorded in the country on 29 March.

However, due to its geographical location of New Zealand, it receives fewer flights than other places. The Prime Minister of New Zealand also acknowledged this and said that this is also a reason that we can keep the corona virus patients low. New Zealand is doing around 50,000 tests every week.

Prevention started from 14 March

When the Prime Minister of New Zealand announced on March 14 that anyone who would enter the country, they would have to stay in his own isolation of two weeks, it was a tough decision. Then there were only six cases in New Zealand.

After this, on March 19, foreigners were barred from entering the country. Then there were 28 Corona cases. On March 23, a lockdown was declared across the country. By then there had been 102 cases but no deaths.

If the youth became more infected, then they recovered quickly.

Since there are not many intensive care units in New Zealand, like in other countries, the Prime Minister of New Zealand took fast decisions. For this reason, only two deaths have occurred in New Zealand so far. In contrast to other countries, young people in New Zealand were more infected with corona, who were easily cured with treatment. The reason for this was also more trips by young New Zealand people. 40 per cent of New Zealanders were people who had travelled abroad. However, New Zealand wants to keep watch on the situation right now.
