Total corona cases in Uttarakhand nears 150
16 New cases reported in the state on May 21
In Uttarakhand, the rate of corona-infected cases is increasing continuously. On Thursday, 16 new infected patients were reported taking the state tally to 146.
With this, 51 cases have been found in Dehradun district alone. The health department has found 979 sample negative in the investigation report. 887 samples have been sent from all over the state for investigation. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Thursday, the investigation report of 995 samples has been received. In that 979 sample were negatives. 16 people have been found infected with corona in seven districts of the state. In this, infection has spread in seven people due to contact with corona patient. While nine infected people have returned to Uttarakhand from outside states.
Additional Secretary Health Yugal Kishore Pant said that on Thursday, four patients were found in Corona infected in Bageshwar, three each in Uttarkashi and Nainital, two each in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar and one each in Dehradun and Almora. In Bageshwar, a 20-year-old corona-infected youth came from Ghaziabad. While a 34-year-old has been infected by exposure to a positive patient. In Uttarkashi, 27, 20 and 32-year-old youths have been diagnosed with the infection. So far, six people have been found corona positive in Uttarkashi district, of which one patient has recovered completely after treatment. While one has been referred to AIIMS Rishikesh .
Corona has been confirmed in a girl in Roorkee in Haridwar district and a youth in Landhaura. The woman had recently returned from Delhi and the youth from Maharashtra.The health department has now quarantined the family of both.
A 42-year-old man from Gujarat in Jaspur in Udham Singh Nagar district and a youth who returned from Mumbai in Kashipur were found to have corona infection.
The travel history of a 33-year-old infection young man is being traced in Almora district. The infection has been confirmed in a 34-year-old man in a private pathology lab in Dehradun. Late Wednesday, three people in Dehradun and one in Tehri were found corona infected. In this, a woman and a youth in Doon had return history from Mumbai. While the third infected AIIMS was admitted to Rishikesh on May 11 for treatment. This person is a resident of Bijnor. The 22-year-old youth who returned from Mumbai in Tehri district has got corona infection.
