Uttarakhand issues guidelines for Lockdown 4

The government has issued a detailed guideline on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Secretary, Uttarakhand State Disaster Management regarding lockdown 4. In this, information about the activities to be conducted here, along with dividing the districts into zones is given.

Most importantly, the government has decided to implement the Odd-Even formula for the operation of four-wheelers in all the eight municipal areas of the state, namely Haldwani, Rudrapur, Haridwar, Kashipur, Dehradun, Kotdwar, Rishikesh and Roorkee. Under this, the vehicles will be operated on the basis of the date and registration number. The District Magistrate will ensure this arrangement. Apart from this, all the offices of the state and central government will open from ten to four in the evening. The state secretariat will be open from 9:30 AM to 4 PM.

Uttarakhand Lockdown 4 Guideline key points

– Interstate public transport in the Orange Zone and Green Zone districts will operate at 50 percent capacity after the consent of other states.

– Inter-district public transport in Orange and Green zones will operate with 50 percent capacity. It will follow the physical distance standards.

– The Department of Transport will issue the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in relation to the operation of public transport.

–  Barber shop, salon, spa, parlor will be opened in Orange Zone and Green Zone.

– Restaurants will be opened for home delivery only.

– All commercial and commercial activities will be conducted from seven in the morning to four in the evening.

– All private offices will open till 4 pm.

– According to the date of registration of vehicles as on date in all eight corporations, the Odd Even system will be applicable.

– In private four wheelers, a maximum of three people will be able to meet in addition to the driver.

– Normal transit and non-essential work will be completely banned from four in the evening to seven in the morning.
