Scientists at several Chinese universities and China’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention have said that the new swine flu is so powerful that it can make humans very ill. If the infection of the new swine flu spread during the Corona pandemic, then a lot of trouble will arise.
The name of the new swine flu is G4. Scientists in China have conducted research from 2011 to 2018 to find it. During this time, these scientists took a swab from the nose of 30 thousand pigs from 10 states of China. This swab was investigated.
The swab showed that there are 179 types of swine flu in China. The G4 was separated from all these. G4 swine flu has been found in most pigs. Which is growing in pigs since 2016. After this, scientists started studying on G4.
The study revealed that the new swine flu G4 can infect humans rapidly and seriously. G4 spreads the infection with extreme intensity. That is, very fast it can take the form of an epidemic among humans.
The investigation also revealed that no person will get immunity from G4 swine flu due as with seasonal flu. Despite having immunity to common flu, G4 can make anyone horribly ill.
Scientists claim that one out of every ten people working in a pork farm in China has got a G4 infection. These scientists had done antibodies test of these people, after which G4 infection has been confirmed.
It has also been revealed from this test that about 4.4 percent of China’s population has been infected with G4. This virus has reached humans with pigs. But so far no evidence has been found that it is reaching from humans to humans or not. Scientists are studying it now.
Chinese scientists have written in their report that if the G4 starts spreading from humans to humans, then this epidemic will become more dangerous. At this time the most need is to take care of those who work with pigs.
