David Blaine’s latest trick: Flying with the help of helium balloons

Noted magician David Blaine who is famous for his amazing feats as an illusionist, this time he has flown in the sky with helium balloons.

The famous American magician David Blaine is famous for his brilliant and dangerous magic and stunts. He has been astounding the world with his astonishing feats for the last 20 years and due to these, he has also broken many world records. On 2 September 2020, David Blaine has once again surprised everyone by flying at an altitude of about 25000 feet in the sky of Arizona. During this time, he transported his body there with the help of 52 helium balloons.

David Blaine also shared the experience there with his friends on the ground via radio. He said- It looks like magic. I feel like I am walking in the air. This stunt by David was named “Ascension” and was also broadcast live on YouTube. David has set a new record with this video. This video of their flight was watched live by 770,000 people. This is the first YouTube original video to be seen live by so many people.

In order to maintain his speed, David started throwing weight objects from the sky. After reaching an altitude of 24,900 feet, he freed himself from the group of balloons. Then for about half a minute (30 seconds) before coming out of the parachute, they were flying downwards. According to him, he was preparing for this program for 2 years. While in the air, he kept in touch with his team. His team used to give him information about the weather and parachute there.

In 2012, David Blaine spent 3 days and 3 nights in an artificial environment where electricity was running all around him. He named this stunt as ‘Electrified: One Million Volts Always On’. There was electricity running around him and only his special suit and helmet could save his life. Prior to this, he had spent 44 days in a glass box in London and in another stunt he was standing on a pole in New York for 35 hours.
