Uttarakhand Corona news 22 September: Over 1100 recover in 1 day
The graph of corona infection in Uttarakhand is increasing day by day. However, the number of patients who have won the war with the coronavirus is also increasing rapidly, which is a matter of relief. On Tuesday, 1107 patients have recovered, while 874 new cases have been reported. The highest of these are from Dehradun- 368. Apart from this, 158 from Udham Singh Nagar, 76 from Nainital, 62 from Haridwar, 43 from Uttarkashi, 42 from Pauri Garhwal, 34 from Almora, 28 from Tehri Garhwal, 23 from Chamoli, 12 from Bageshwar, 10 from Rudraprayag, 17 from Pithoragarh and one Champawat have been reported. At the same time, 11 have died. The number of infected patients detected till now has increased to 42651 out of which 30107 have become healthy. Currently 11831 cases are active, while 201 have died. In addition 512 have moved out of state.
Two corona-infected patients died at Doon Medical College Hospital. Among them, a 78-year-old resident of Mehuwala was admitted to the hospital on September 10. The patient died on Tuesday morning due to respiratory failure. Apart from this, a 70-year-old man resident of Iqbalpur Ruoorkee was admitted to the hospital on 21 September. The patient also had other health problems including bilateral pneumonia.
Main post office in Rishikesh closed for two days
The post office has been closed for two days due to the positive Covid Report of a postal assistant posted at the main post office at Ghat Road, Rishikesh.
