Sharad Purnima 2020: Devotees visit Har-ki-pauri to take dip in Ganga

On Sharad Purnima, many devotees from various states of the country took a dip in the Ganges at Niladhara Ghat including Har ki Pauri. The devotees went to the temples of Lord Lakshminarayana and offered prayers. However, there is less water in the Ganges presently due to cleaning work ahead of next year’s Kumbh. But, a large number of devotees still arrived.

The full moon date is on Friday evening, so devotees will take a dip in the holy river with rising sun on Saturday. At night, the townspeople visited Purnachandra. At the conclusion of Asvina month, devotees from various states came to Dharmanagri to take a bath in the Ganges. Devotees made kheer in the night and kept it in the moonlight.
