Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 120 cases found on 18 January
On Monday, 120 new corona patients were found in the state and six infected people died. With this, the total corona patients in the state have increased to 94923. While the death toll has reached 1617. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, no corona patient was found in the four districts of the state on Monday. On Monday, corona infection was detected in 4 in Almora, 3 in Chamoli, 36 in Dehradun, 23 in Haridwar, 38 in Nainital, 1 in Pithoragarh, 1 in Rudraprayag, 10 in US Nagar and 4 in Uttarkashi district.
Two patients died at Doon Hospital, two at Mahant Indresh, one at Haldwani Medical College and one admitted to JLN Hospital Rudrapur. A total of 330 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state. Due to which the number of patients recovering has been 89882. While 2136 patients are being treated in various hospitals. Samples of more than 12 thousand patients have been sent for examination. Report of 11 thousand came while 12 thousand report is yet to come. The recovery rate of patients in the state has reached close to 95 percent and the infection rate has come down to 4.76. Less than fifty patients have been found in Dehradun district after a long time.
