Uttarakhand on sixth spot in terms of Corona vaccines administered

Uttarakhand ranks sixth in the country in the Covid vaccination campaign. While Uttarakhand is leading in immunization from many big states including Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh. According to the Health Ministry report, 74.8 percent Covid vaccination has been done in Uttarakhand.

Covid vaccination campaign is going on successfully in the state. So far, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 108774 health workers and front line workers in the state. On Saturday, 4922 personnel were vaccinated at 108 booths of the state, according to the report of the Ministry of Health, Lakshadweep is first in vaccination.

Maximum 81 percent of health workers are vaccinated here. While Bihar was second with 80.6 percent, third place was 78.9 percent in Tripura, 76.7 percent in fourth placed Orissa, 75.8 percent in Madhya Pradesh in fifth place and 74.5 percent in Uttarakhand in sixth place.

While other states including Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Chandigarh lag behind Uttarakhand. Director of National Health Mission, Dr. Saroj Naithani said that the vaccination campaign is going on successfully in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand ranks sixth in the country.

Uttarkashi becomes Corona free district

Relief is good news for Uttarkashi district amid Corona pandemic. Since January 28, there has not been a single corona positive case in the district and the district has become free from corona due to recovery of the only active case in the district.

The first patient of corona infection was found in the district in May, after which a total of 3754 patients have reported positive so far in nine months. According to information received from the war room, so far more than one lakh three thousand samples have been sent for investigation, out of which 96916 reports have come negative. However, reports of 699 samples are yet to come.

Since January 28, there has not been a single corona positive case in the district.
