Tsunami warning issued after 7.3 magnitude Earthquake strikes New Zealand

A tsunami warning has been issued after this severe earthquake. The earthquake struck New Zealand’s north-east coast, after which news caused panic, according to the report of the news agency AP. New Zealand’s National Emergency Management Agency has said that an assessment is being made as to whether the earthquake could cause a tsunami. The agency has advised people living near the beach to migrate to higher areas. The agency has asked the people living near the coast to immediately go to safe places if the tremors of the earthquake are felt for a long time.
