Uttarakhand corona update: 61 cases found on 28 February
61 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand and three infected people died. 120 patients were discharged from home isolation and hospitals after treatment, taking the number of active patients to 919. For the first time after the third wave of corona, the rate of corona infection in the state has come down below one percent.
According to the bulletin of the Health Department, on Monday, 12 cases were reported in Almora, 1 in Bageshwar, 6 in Champawat, 21 in Dehradun, 2 in Haridwar, 5 in Pauri, 6 in Pithoragarh, 2 in Tehri, 3 in US Nagar and 3 in Uttarkashi district.
With this, the death toll during the third wave of corona in the state has reached 265. On Monday, sample reports of 6942 patients came from various hospitals and labs of the state, while samples of more than seven thousand patients have been sent for examination. The rate of corona infection in the state is 0.87 percent and the recovery rate of patients has exceeded 95 percent.
Along with the decreasing cases of corona, the Health Department has issued a warning and appealed to everyone to strictly follow the Covid guidelines. On Monday, more than 11 thousand people in the state were given doses of anti-corona vaccine.
