Uttarakhand Corona curfew June 22 to June 29: Know the guidelines

The Uttarakhand government has issued a guide line regarding the sixth phase of Covid curfew imposed in the state late on Saturday night. According to the SOP, the Covid curfew in the state will continue till June 29. The current curfew ends on June 21. More relaxations have been given to businesses in this curfew. The main guidelines that have been issued in the SOP are –

  • The Covid curfew in the state will remain in force from 6 am on June 22 to June 29 at 6 am.
  • In Gram Panchayat areas, the District Magistrate can take decisions at their discretion.
  • The vaccination program will continue as before in the state.
  • Maximum 50 people can attend the marriage ceremony with corona negative report.
  • A maximum of 50 people are allowed in the funeral procession.
  • All educational institutions will remain closed as before in the state till further orders.
  • All political and social activities involving crowd gathering are prohibited.
  • Those coming to the state from outside states have to bring a Covid negative RT-PCR report not later than 72-hours before.
  • People coming to villages from outside states will stay in isolation for 7 days.
  • Revenue courts can hear up to 20 cases in a day with compliance with the COVID protocol.
  • Medicine shops, hospitals, ambulances etc. will continue to operate.
  • All business establishments will remain open for five days in a week i.e. on June 22, 23, 24, 25 and 28 from 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Cinema halls, gyms, sports institutes, malls etc. will remain closed till further orders.
  • All vegetable, fruit, milk, sweet shops will be open daily from 8 am to 5 pm.
  • All business establishments will remain closed on 26th and 27th ie Saturday, Sunday.
  • Hotels, restaurants, dhabas will open with only 50 percent dining arrangement, but home delivery will have to be encouraged.
  • The general public will not be allowed to enter the market directly for purchase.
  • Printing press, media offices are allowed to open as usual.
  • Transport services like Vikram, Auto etc. will be operated.
  • Those coming to the hills from Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar will have to bring a Covid negative report.
  • All the essential services offices of the state government will function with 100% manpower. Other departments will work with 50 percent manpower.
  • It is mandatory for those coming from outside Uttarakhand to register themselves on Smart City web portal https://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in.
  • Municipal corporations to carry out sanitization drives on 26 and 27 June.
  • Interstate movement of public transport will continue with 100 percent occupancy and subject to SOPs issued by the State Transport department.
  • Those traveling to Garhwal and Kumaon regions via UP border will not require negative Corona report but must register themselves on smart city portal and download an e-pass.
