Least single day infections in one and a half years reported in Uttarakhand

In Uttarakhand, after one and a half years, the least number of corona infected have been found in a day. On Sunday, only six people were found corona infected in four districts. With the start of Chardham Yatra in the state, there is a big relief as the number of infected people has come down. With this, the total number of infected has gone up to 343382.

In other states including Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh where corona infected patients are increasing rapidly. At the same time, there has been a decrease in infected patients in Uttarakhand. After a year and a half of the Covid period, the least number of infected patients have been found in a day. Earlier on May 18, 2020, four patients were found in the state.

According to the Health Department, the investigation report of 14861 samples came negative in the state on Sunday evening. Three infected have been found in Dehradun, one each in Haridwar, Nainital and Rudraprayag districts. No new patients have been found in nine districts. While 15 patients have recovered. Including these, 329634 patients have become healthy. So far 7390 corona patients have died in the state. 273 active patients are being treated in the state. The recovery rate of the state has been recorded at 96 percent.

Full monitoring is being done to prevent corona infection. The number of infected patients has come down in the state but the risk of infection has not reduced yet. People have to avoid infection by following the covid protocol.
