New guidelines issued for traveling to Mussoorie

If you are planing to visit Mussoorie, then it is important to stay up to date with the latest administrative guidelines. The administration has issued a new guideline for entry in Mussoorie. Do not forget to follow the guideline in the pursuit of fun, by doing so you may have to face many problems. According to the administration, now tourists will be allowed to visit Mussoorie, the famous tourist destination of Uttarakhand, only on weekends. Dehradun DM R Rajesh Kumar told the media that tourists will be allowed to visit Mussoorie only on weekends. Apart from this, the rules related to Covid report will continue to be applicable as before. Tourists will have to bring the Covid negative test report 72 hours before arrival. Not more than 15,000 tourists will be allowed to stay in hotels and other establishments during the weekend. Take special care of one thing while visiting Dehradun-Mussoorie, tourists will be allowed to travel here, but no person will be allowed to enter the ponds and rivers in Sahastradhara, Guchupani and Mussoorie.

The DM reiterated warning both tourists and residents that spitting in public places is prohibited. Those found doing so will be fined Rs 500 to Rs 1,000. Apart from this, the period of Covid curfew has been extended in the capital. The District Magistrate issued orders in this regard. The Covid curfew in Dehradun has been extended till September 21. These days the weather in Uttarakhand is bad, there are frequent landslides due to heavy rainfall in the hills. Things get worse in Dehradun-Mussoorie on weekends. There is a long jam on the road. During this, to avoid any kind of inconvenience, please follow the guidelines of the government. Avoid traveling in bad weather as much as possible.
