WhatsApp new feature to make seamless transfer of chats between OS change
Till now if users transfer their operating system from iOS to Android or from Android to iOS, then they had to lose their old chat history. But now WhatsApp users are going to get such a feature, through which they can move their chat history from one operating system to another. After a series of reports, finally a feature is going to be rolled out in WhatsApp by which all users will be able to transfer their chat history from iOS to Android.
According to reports, WhatsApp was still working on this feature. This feature will be rolled out after various beta tests. Till now, if users changed their operating system, they had to lose their old chat history, but through this feature, old chat history can be transferred from iOS to Android.
Announcing this feature, WhatsApp said in a blog post that – ‘This was a very requested feature that we had to make possible by which chat history can be transferred from one operating system to another. We’ve worked hard with the operating system and device manufacturer to make it more secure and reliable. We are very excited to roll out this picture in which you can transfer your chat history from iOS to Android.’
In this process all your WhatsApp voice messages, photos and videos will be included. Especially initially this feature will be in the phones of all Samsung users who use Android 10 or higher. Soon this feature will be seen in all Android phones, in which if the user changes their phone, then they can easily transfer all his old chats from one operating system to another.
