Dead body of minor girl found in forest near Haldwani

The body of a minor girl was found on Wednesday in the forest adjacent to the railway gate in Indira Nagar, Haldwani. Prima facie it seems to be a case of murder. The incident caused a sensation in the area. It is being told that the minor was missing since September 29. Police reached the spot and questioned some youths on the basis of suspicion.

It is suspected that the minor was strangled to death. After the murder, the police team including SP City is on the spot. At present, the police has taken the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Police have arrested two youths. The accused were seen by the girl in CCTV near Gaujajali.
