France on cusp of fifth Covid-19 wave warns health minister

Health Minister Veran said that 11,883 cases of corona virus infection were reported across the country on Wednesday. This is the second consecutive day, when more than 10 thousand cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the country. He said that the cases of corona infection in the country are increasing week by week from mid-October. Olivier said that ‘with more vaccinations, masks and hygiene measures, we can face the fifth wave more strongly. It is also possible that we can completely defeat this pandemic.’
So far 73,46,000 cases of corona infection have been registered in France. More than 1,19,000 people have died in France due to Corona. Experts believe that if the fifth wave wreaks havoc, then the situation may worsen significantly. During this many lives could be lost.
