Over 200 daily corona cases recorded in New Zealand for the first time

Corona outbreaks are increasing once again around the world. For the first time in New Zealand, 206 new cases have been reported in a day. Of these, 200 cases have been reported from Auckland, the most populous city. In fact, due to the pandemic, Auckland was locked for three months because there was a huge outbreak of the Delta variant. However, restrictions are expected to be eased on Monday.

More than 70 lakh people have been vaccinated in the country. 78 percent of people in New Zealand have been fully vaccinated. At the same time, 89 percent people have taken the first dose of corona vaccine. The total corona cases here are more than 7000 while 31 people have died so far.

According to Johns Hopkins University, the number of corona infected worldwide has crossed 249 million while the death toll from the epidemic has exceeded 50.3 lakh.
