Uttarakhand corona update: 630 cases reported on 6th Jan
Rising corona case in Uttarakhand has once again started to cause concern. According to the report of the Health Department, today 630 have been found corona positive out of which, 268 people were in Dehradun, 119 in Haridwar and 85 in Nainital. The condition of these 3 districts is very bad. Especially Dehradun has become a hot spot of Corona.
Apart from this, the condition of Pauri is also not good. Today 72 people have been found positive in Pauri, 11 in Uttarkashi, 04 in Tehri, 01 in Bageshwar, 85 in Nainital, 18 in Almora, 04 in Pithoragarh, 35 in Udham Singh Nagar, 08 in Champawat and 05 in Chamoli. Today the death toll from Corona is 03. Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, the number of corona patients in Uttarakhand reached 347098. So far, 331756 people have recovered and discharged in Uttarakhand. With this, 1425 cases are still active in Uttarakhand.
Precautionary dose from Jan 10
A precautionary dose will be given from January 10 onwards to protect the elderly, health workers and frontline workers above 60 years of age who have applied two doses of anti-Covid vaccine.
State chief secretary Dr. SS Sandhu instructed all the District Magistrates to make full preparations for this. In Uttarakhand, the number of corona infected is increasing continuously in the last one week. In view of this, the government has also started measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
Elderly persons above the age of 60 years, health workers and frontline workers will receive the same booster dose as the first and second doses. Those who have applied Covishield or Covaxin will be given a booster dose of the same vaccine.
