Apple Event on March 8; here’s what to expect

There is good news for those who are waiting for a cheaper iPhone, now you will not have to wait much to buy a budget iPhone. Apple can launch it at the event to be held on March 8. Apple on Tuesday invited media for its March 8 event, where the company is expected to unveil its new MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini and Apple M1 and M2 iMac Pro. Along with the new Mac machines, the Cupertino company is speculated to unveil its new iPad Air at a virtual event along with the most-awaited iPhone SE 3 aka iPhone SE+ 5G or 5G iPhone SE. This will notably be the company’s first public event of the year. Apple is calling the event ‘peak performance’ – indicating an upgrade to its performance-focused devices.

Apple Event March 8th Livestream Details

The Apple event will take place on March 8th at 10am PST (11:30am IST). It will be livestreamed from Apple Park via the company’s website and the Apple TV app. The event is also expected to go live through Apple’s official YouTube channel. While Apple hasn’t confirmed any details yet, the invite carries the tagline ‘Peak Performance’ with a multicolored Apple logo, which suggests upgrades to your devices with performance enhancements and new color options.

The cheapest iPhone may be launched at the event

Apart from the MacBook Air, Apple may bring the event (iPhone SE 3), which could also be called iPhone SE (2022), iPhone SE+ 5G or iPhone SE 5G. The new iPhone may feature a similar design that came with the iPhone SE (2020), though it may include 5G support and come with the A15 Bionic chip. It is also rumored that it has a better rear camera. The price of iPhone SE 3 can be $ 300 (about Rs 22,700).

The iPad Air is also speculated to receive an upgrade this time around which will debut as the iPad Air (5th generation). It is speculated to have A15 Bionic chip and 5G connectivity.
