Guidelines for Chardham Yatra 2022
After two years in Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra will be in full swing this time. It is believed that this time record number of pilgrims could visit the 4 holy places. Regarding the preparations for the yatra, the government administration has also started moving forward the work rapidly. Some guidelines have also been issued for this.
Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra 2022 Guideline
Photometric registration will be mandatory for every devotee going on Chardham Yatra including Badrinath-Kedarnath. Rishikesh’s Chardham Yatra terminal compound was closed for two years. Now the photometric registration center located here will open by April 15. It is mandatory to register here.
Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra 2022 Instruction
Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar has directed the departmental officers related to the Yatra to make all arrangements. He has directed the Public Works Department to clear the snow lying on the Char Dham road.
Apart from this, instructions have been given to Jal Sansthan to repair water tanks on the Yatra route, repair damaged drinking water lines.
BRO and NHAI have been directed to make the National Highways pothole free during the Yatra. BRO has been directed to fix the parking arrangements including asphaltization of the highway.
The Garhwal Commissioner has said that all preparations will be reviewed in the first week of April.
