PM Modi meets Indian diaspora in Germany

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Berlin, the capital of Germany. During this, he met people from the Indian community at Hotel Adlon Kempinski. A girl named Manya Mishra also reached Berlin to welcome PM Modi.

The girl told that it was great to meet Modi ji. She told him that ‘I am proud that you are the Prime Minister of our country. ‘

At the same time, Gaurang Kuteja of Indian origin said that ‘we were excited to get a glimpse of PM Modi. We came to Berlin after covering a distance of 400 km. PM Modi respectfully greeted all the people of Indian origin. We are all waiting for the Prime Minister’s address.’

PM will attend the 6th India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultation (IGC) with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz today. Then in the evening he will address the Indian community in Berlin.

After this, the PM will take part in the Indo-Nordic conference on May 3, then will also address the Indians in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Lastly, PM Modi will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. This is PM’s first foreign tour of this year. In his visit from May 2 to 4, he will visit three European countries, Germany, Denmark and France.

PM Modi tweeted as soon as he reached Berlin. He wrote that he would speak to Chancellor Olaf Scholz. In addition, he will also meet with business leaders and address a community event. He is confident that this visit will boost the friendship between India and Germany.

In the press release issued from PMO, detailed information about this visit of PM has been given. It said that India-Germany diplomatic relations completed 70 years in 2021, and we have also been a strategic partner since the year 2000. PM Modi will discuss strategic, regional and global developments with Chancellor Scholz. The German Chancellor and the Prime Minister of India will also address a business roundtable meeting for industry collaboration.

The continent of Europe is home to more than one million people of Indian origin. A large number of them live in Germany. PM Modi will address people of Indian origin here.

Will attend the Nordic Summit in Denmark

After this, PM Modi will reach Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark on 3 May. Here he will attend a bilateral event and the second India-Nordic summit with Denmark Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on May 3 and 4. Along with this, issues like economic reforms, climate change and renewable energy will be discussed.

During the summit, PM Modi will meet the leaders of four more Nordic countries. The Nordic region includes Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
