Tractor trolley carrying devotees meets with accident near Kichha
A major accident happened in Uttarakhand on Sunday morning. Six people have died reportedly when a trolley full of devotees overturned near Kichha. However, the administration has confirmed the death of five people. 37 people are reported to have been injured in the accident. who are being treated.
A huge crowd of people gathered on the spot as soon as the news of the incident spread near Udham Singh Nagar district.Police and district administration people are engaged in relief and rescue work on the spot.
About 45 to 50 devotees, residents of Basgar village of Shakti Farm area, were going to pay obeisance at the Gurudwara located in Uttam Nagar, which is in the UP area located on the border. It is being told that every Sunday in Uttam Nagar Gurdwara, recitation of Guru Granth Sahib and program of langar is organized. In which devotees came out to attend.
Sirsa outpost comes under Baheri police station area of Bareilly district. After reaching the tractor trolley near the post, the truck coming from behind hit the trailer. Due to which the trolley overturned uncontrollably.
In the accident that took place around 9 am on Sunday morning, local people informed the matter to the police. After which relief and rescue work was started.
