Uttarakhand transport department to start volvo bus services from Uttarakhand to Amritsar

Uttarakhand Transport Corporation will run Volvo bus service for Amritsar. This bus service will run from Nanakmatta in Udham Singh Nagar, which will reach Amritsar via Dehradun-Chadigarh-Jalandhar. The bus service is set to start from November 1. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami may flag off the bus.

There is first bus service from Uttarakhand to Golden Temple. The bus will leave from Nanakmatta at 9.30 pm. It will leave from Dehradun for Chandigarh at 4 in the morning. It will reach Amritsar by 4 pm. Whereas at 9.30 pm, it will leave Amritsar for Nanakmatta.

KP Singh, Assistant General Manager, Dehradun Rural Depot, said that preparations are on to start the bus from November 1. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami may be present at the inauguration. Along with this, the possible timetable of the bus has been prepared, there may be some changes in it. Bus fare will also be finalized soon. With the start of bus service, passengers will get great convenience. For a long time there was a demand to run a bus service for Nanakmatta-Amritsar.
