37th Junior National Games: Uttarakhand’s Mansi Negi breaks national record in 10km race walk

Mansi Negi, a resident of Chamoli, Uttarakhand, has now set a new record in the 10,000 km walk race. Mansi has created a new national record in the 37th Junior National Games by completing the 10 km walk race in 47:30.94 minutes.

Rachna from Haryana stood second and Sejal from Maharashtra stood third. The 37th Junior National Games are being held in Guwahati, Assam. Mansi Negi did wonders in the 10,000 meter walk race event of the Games. Mansi not only won gold, but broke the national record. This is really a big achievement for this athelete and for the whole of Uttarakhand. Mansi Negi is taking training from athletics coach and deputy sports officer Anoop Bisht at Maharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradun.
