Joe Biden makes surprise visit to Ukraine
US President, Joe Biden has surprised everyone by reaching Kyiv just before the completion of one year of the war between Russia and Ukraine. He arrived in Ukraine on Monday and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Russia announced an invasion in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. This is the first time since then that the US President has reached Ukraine.
This visit of Biden is considered very important. US has been providing military help to Ukraine from a distance till now. Joe Biden has announced on several occasions that he will stand by Ukraine at all costs. However, his visit to Ukraine on Monday has raised concerns among Kremlin strategists.
By reaching Ukraine, Biden has announced to provide more help to the war-torn country. The US President has said that he will provide more and more new weapons to Ukraine. He has announced to give air surveillance radar to protect Ukraine.

According to news agency Reuters, Biden will announce $ 500 million in military aid to Ukraine on Tuesday. We are nearing the anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US President said during his visit to Kyiv.’ I am in Kyiv to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the democracy, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.’
